This print references an 1800s British natural history illustration of a pheasant.
Pheasants are native to Asia and were introduced into Britain as a game bird.
These images of antiquity are brought back to life by a very skilled UK based team who remaster, restore any damage and replicate their original colours.
They are then printed with archival grade methods to ensure the highest quality and prevent ageing, all of which are framed and ready to hang.
- These prints are digitally restored using a reference of illustrations from the 1800s.
- Printed on archival-grade 315gsm paper with fine art inks.
- Mounted with an antique white conservation grade Daler Rowney mount board.
