In architecture, the Composite column is a Roman-designed column style that combines characteristics of the ancient Greek-era Ionic and the Corinthian columns.
The word "Corinthian" describes an ornate column style developed in ancient Greece and classified as one of the Classical Orders of Architecture.
These images of antiquity are brought back to life by a very skilled UK based team who remaster, restore any damage and replicate their original colours.
They are then printed with archival grade methods to ensure the highest quality and prevent ageing, all of which are framed and ready to hang.
- These prints are digitally restored using a reference of illustrations from the 1800s.
- Printed on archival-grade 315gsm paper with fine art inks.
- Mounted with an antique white conservation grade Daler Rowney mount board.
