Peacocks are large, colourful pheasants (typically blue and green) known for their iridescent tails. These tail feathers, or coverts, spread out in a distinctive train that is more than 60 percent of the bird's total body length and boast colourful "eye" markings of blue, gold, red, and other hues.
These images of antiquity are brought back to life by a very skilled UK based team who remaster, restore any damage and replicate their original colours.
They are then printed with archival grade methods to ensure the highest quality and prevent ageing, all of which are framed and ready to hang.
- These prints are digitally restored using a reference of illustrations from the 1800's.
- Printed on archival-grade 315gsm paper with fine art inks.
- Mounted with an antique white conservation grade Daler Rowney mount board.
