The bench is decorated with dense foliate carving, carved mythical beasts on the uprights and a central lion-mask cresting. The dark aged finish and worn edges are visible throughout.

Dimensions

Width: 129 cm

Depth: 47 cm

Height: 113 cm

Seat Height: 50 cm

Condition

Heavy surface wear and finish loss consistent with long use. There are numerous scratches, scuffed and rubbed areas, chipped corners and several losses to the carved detailing; close-up images show worn and softened edges to the arm and crest mouldings. Some age-related splits are present in the carved sections but the main carcass and storage compartment appear structurally sound and the lift-up seat closes correctly.

Delivery Information

Please note that all of our deliveries are carried out by a one-man delivery service.
