Most mainland UK locations are covered by our standard £65 furniture delivery service, with a reduced local delivery rate of £30 available within 15 miles of Bourne End SL8.
Some remote or harder-to-reach areas may require a different delivery charge, so please check our Delivery Information page before ordering or contact us if unsure.
Furniture deliveries are carried out by one-man couriers, so assistance will usually be required to help unload the item at delivery. Delivery is generally to the door, although some drivers may assist further at their own discretion.
We aim to deliver most furniture items within 10 working days, depending on location and courier routes.

We aim to describe the condition of every item as honestly and accurately as possible, with any notable wear, repairs, damage or imperfections clearly shown in both the description and photographs.
Established since 2005, we have built a strong knowledge of interiors, antiques and period furniture, allowing us to confidently identify and catalogue our pieces.

A characterful vintage Art Deco pedestal desk, dating from the early–mid 20th century and featuring classic 1930s styling with clean lines and stepped drawer fronts.
The desk is constructed in wood with a warm honey tone finish and features seven drawers in total, including three drawers to each pedestal and a long central drawer. The drawers retain their original Art Deco style carved wooden handles, adding to the period character of the piece.
Its compact proportions make it well suited as a home office desk, study desk, writing desk or dressing table, while the pedestal layout offers practical storage for stationery, paperwork or small items.
The design reflects the functional simplicity typical of Art Deco furniture, with understated detailing and practical proportions.
This would make a good restoration project or usable vintage desk, ideal for someone looking for an authentic piece with character.

Condition
Condition consistent with age and heavy use.
The desk shows numerous surface marks, stains and wear, including areas of discolouration to the top. The drawers show historic ink staining inside, typical for desks of this period.
There is graffiti present in places, and one of the drawer handles has been historically cracked and repaired.
The desk remains structurally solid and usable, but it would benefit from restoration or refinishing if desired.
