Delivery & Collection

Most mainland UK locations are covered by our standard £65 furniture delivery service, with a reduced local delivery rate of £30 available within 15 miles of Bourne End SL8.

Some remote or harder-to-reach areas may require a different delivery charge, so please check our Delivery Information page before ordering or contact us if unsure.

Furniture deliveries are carried out by one-man couriers, so assistance will usually be required to help unload the item at delivery. Delivery is generally to the door, although some drivers may assist further at their own discretion.

We aim to deliver most furniture items within 10 working days, depending on location and courier routes.

Collection is also welcome from our Bourne End showroom:

Condition & Authenticity

We aim to describe the condition of every item as honestly and accurately as possible, with any notable wear, repairs, damage or imperfections clearly shown in both the description and photographs.

Established since 2005, we have built a strong knowledge of interiors, antiques and period furniture, allowing us to confidently identify and catalogue our pieces.

If you would like a more detailed condition report, additional photographs or a walkaround video via WhatsApp or SMS, we are always happy to help.

Please contact us at furniture_@live.co.uk with any enquiries.

A More Sustainable Choice

Choosing antique and reclaimed furniture is one of the most sustainable ways to furnish a home.

Older furniture was often built using solid timber and traditional craftsmanship designed to last for generations, rather than a few years.

By giving these pieces a new home, you help reduce demand for mass-produced furniture while keeping beautiful, characterful items in circulation for years to come.

Height: 73 cm
Width: 200 cm
Depth: 83 cm

Condition

Heavy 1990s frame, structurally sound and comfortable. Significant wear to seat panels with pronounced cracking and colour loss. Scuffs and marks across arms and base; finish is heavily distressed and consistent with heavy use.

This is a substantial 1990s leather Chesterfield sofa finished in a deep brown hide. It has classic deep button tufting, rolled scrolled arms and brass stud trim. The frame is heavy and comfortable, and the leather shows a well-worn, distressed surface that suits an informal or restoration project.

Dimensions

  • Width: 200 cm
  • Depth: 83 cm
  • Height: 73 cm
  • Seat Height: 35 cm

Condition

The frame is sturdy and the sofa remains comfortable to sit on. The leather exhibits significant wear: the seat panels have pronounced cracking, colour loss and surface flaking, visible in the close-up images, and there are scuffs and marks to the arms, base and edges. No major structural repairs are evident but the finish is heavily distressed and would benefit from a professional clean, re-dye or restoration if you prefer a more uniform appearance.

Please note that all of our deliveries are carried out by a one-man delivery service. Assistance may therefore be required at the delivery address when receiving larger or heavier items. Please check with us before purchasing to confirm your postcode qualifies for our £65 delivery rate. Some areas incur a surcharge, and we are unable to deliver to the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, parts of Wales and certain remote locations.
