Most mainland UK locations are covered by our standard £65 furniture delivery service, with a reduced local delivery rate of £30 available within 15 miles of Bourne End SL8.

Some remote or harder-to-reach areas may require a different delivery charge, so please check our Delivery Information page before ordering or contact us if unsure.

Furniture deliveries are carried out by one-man couriers, so assistance will usually be required to help unload the item at delivery. Delivery is generally to the door, although some drivers may assist further at their own discretion.

We aim to deliver most furniture items within 10 working days, depending on location and courier routes.

We aim to describe the condition of every item as honestly and accurately as possible, with any notable wear, repairs, damage or imperfections clearly shown in both the description and photographs.

Description

This is a graceful Edwardian mahogany side table with a lovely oval silhouette. It features a two-tier design, providing a secondary shelf below for books or decorative items. The table stands on four elegant fluted legs that taper down to turned feet.

The wood has a rich, warm mahogany tone with a visible grain. The top edge is finished with a simple moulded detail, and the leg headers are decorated with hand-carved floral roundels. While it needs some repair work to the underframe, it remains a charming and authentic piece of early 20th-century furniture.

Condition

This table is being sold as a restoration project and shows signs of its age:

Missing Part: A section of the frieze (the decorative wooden edge under the tabletop) is missing on one side. This exposes the internal dowel and the flat side of the leg block (see detail photos).
Surface: There are marks and scratches throughout the top and tiers, as expected with an item of this age.
Stability: The table is structurally standing, but the missing frieze piece may affect the long-term rigidity of the top until repaired.
