Most mainland UK locations are covered by our standard £65 furniture delivery service, with a reduced local delivery rate of £30 available within 15 miles of Bourne End SL8.
Some remote or harder-to-reach areas may require a different delivery charge, so please check our Delivery Information page before ordering or contact us if unsure.
Furniture deliveries are carried out by one-man couriers, so assistance will usually be required to help unload the item at delivery. Delivery is generally to the door, although some drivers may assist further at their own discretion.
We aim to deliver most furniture items within 10 working days, depending on location and courier routes.

We aim to describe the condition of every item as honestly and accurately as possible, with any notable wear, repairs, damage or imperfections clearly shown in both the description and photographs.
Established since 2005, we have built a strong knowledge of interiors, antiques and period furniture, allowing us to confidently identify and catalogue our pieces.

A large and characterful antique French oak armoire wardrobe, featuring beautifully shaped panelled doors and classic provincial styling.
Constructed from solid oak, this substantial country wardrobe has traditional French decorative moulded panels to the doors, giving it an elegant yet rustic appearance typical of provincial French furniture. The interior provides practical storage with a full-width hanging rail and upper shelf, making it ideal for clothing, linens or household storage.
The piece currently has a distressed painted finish, with areas of the original darker wood visible beneath. With some restoration work, this wardrobe would make a stunning statement piece. It would particularly suit being stripped back and waxed, allowing the natural oak grain to show through beautifully.
With its generous proportions and solid construction, this armoire would work well as a wardrobe, linen press, hall cupboard or statement storage piece in both traditional and contemporary interiors.

The wardrobe shows significant wear to the painted finish, with areas of loss, marks and scuffs throughout. It would benefit from stripping and refinishing, which would likely reveal attractive oak beneath.
The interior shows general age-related wear and marks. Structurally solid overall but clearly a project piece requiring TLC.
