Most mainland UK locations are covered by our standard £65 furniture delivery service, with a reduced local delivery rate of £30 available within 15 miles of Bourne End SL8.
Some remote or harder-to-reach areas may require a different delivery charge, so please check our Delivery Information page before ordering or contact us if unsure.
Furniture deliveries are carried out by one-man couriers, so assistance will usually be required to help unload the item at delivery. Delivery is generally to the door, although some drivers may assist further at their own discretion.
We aim to deliver most furniture items within 10 working days, depending on location and courier routes.

We aim to describe the condition of every item as honestly and accurately as possible, with any notable wear, repairs, damage or imperfections clearly shown in both the description and photographs.

A striking antique Indian campaign trunk chest mounted on a decorative stand, featuring solid timber construction with brass military-style corner banding and hardware.
The trunk has the classic proportions of colonial campaign furniture, originally designed for durability and travel. Brass reinforcement bands protect the corners, while the rich timber grain gives the piece a warm and distinctive character. The base stand features three drawers with brass drop handles and decorative cut-out detailing, raised on turned legs.
Pieces of this style were commonly produced in India during the late 19th to early 20th century for British colonial officers and travellers, combining practicality with elegant craftsmanship.
Today the piece works beautifully as a statement storage chest, coffee table, blanket box, or decorative hall piece.

Condition
Condition consistent with age and use.
There are surface marks, scuffs and wear to the wood consistent with age. Some minor movement where the trunk meets the base as expected with furniture of this type. The brass banding and hardware show light age-related patina.
Overall structurally sound with plenty of character.
