Delivery & Collection

Most mainland UK locations are covered by our standard £65 furniture delivery service, with a reduced local delivery rate of £30 available within 15 miles of Bourne End SL8.

Some remote or harder-to-reach areas may require a different delivery charge, so please check our Delivery Information page before ordering or contact us if unsure.


Furniture deliveries are carried out by one-man couriers, so assistance will usually be required to help unload the item at delivery. Delivery is generally to the door, although some drivers may assist further at their own discretion.


We aim to deliver most furniture items within 10 working days, depending on location and courier routes.


Collection is also welcome from our Bourne End showroom:

Condition & Authenticity

We aim to describe the condition of every item as honestly and accurately as possible, with any notable wear, repairs, damage or imperfections clearly shown in both the description and photographs.


Established since 2005, we have built a strong knowledge of interiors, antiques and period furniture, allowing us to confidently identify and catalogue our pieces.

Condition

The dresser is in used vintage condition, showing an honest and heavily lived-in character:

  • The solid pine woodwork shows numerous marks, scuffs, deep scratches, and superficial indents throughout from decades of daily domestic use.
  • There are multiple distinct water marks, historic splatters, and localized discoloration to the finish, particularly noticeable on the front cupboard doors and the sideboard top.
  • The glazed doors are fully intact with no cracks or damage to the glass panels.
  • The drawers and lower cupboard doors are properly aligned, function correctly, and the unit stands completely stable and level.

Description

A substantial vintage solid pine kitchen dresser offering an exceptional amount of storage and traditional country house styling. The upper section features an arched open central alcove with fixed shelving, flanked by two large glazed display cabinets with decorative diamond-pattern astragal bars.

The lower sideboard section houses three smooth-sliding storage drawers fitted with antiqued brass swing handles, sitting above three large panelled cupboard doors with brass knob hardware. This classic two-piece design ensures the top half completely removes from the base for much easier transport and installation.
