Delivery & Collection

Most mainland UK locations are covered by our standard £65 furniture delivery service, with a reduced local delivery rate of £30 available within 15 miles of Bourne End SL8.

Some remote or harder-to-reach areas may require a different delivery charge, so please check our Delivery Information page before ordering or contact us if unsure.


Furniture deliveries are carried out by one-man couriers, so assistance will usually be required to help unload the item at delivery. Delivery is generally to the door, although some drivers may assist further at their own discretion.


We aim to deliver most furniture items within 10 working days, depending on location and courier routes.

We aim to describe the condition of every item as honestly and accurately as possible, with any notable wear, repairs, damage or imperfections clearly shown in both the description and photographs.

Structurally sound Louis XV‑style demi‑lune chest with three working drawers. Noticeable scratches, scuffs and areas of veneer/finish loss on drawer fronts and lower apron. Marble top has scratches, fine cracks, edge wear, darker patches and small chips. Gilt mounts present with age‑related wear.

A French Louis XV‑style demi‑lune chest of three drawers, crafted in inlaid mahogany with fine string inlay and ornate gilt‑metal mounts. The curved drawer fronts feature decorative brass ring handles and escutcheons, and the piece sits on elegant cabriole legs beneath a shaped multicoloured marble top.

Condition

Fair antique condition. Structurally sound with all drawers present and hardware fitted. There is noticeable surface wear across the case including scratches, scuffs and areas of veneer and finish loss on the drawer fronts and lower apron. The marble top shows visible scratches, fine cracks, edge wear, some darker patches and a few small chips. Gilt‑metal mounts remain fitted but show age‑related wear and minor losses to finish.
