This is a straightforward, functional chest of four drawers made from solid pine. It features a classic design with rounded "bun" feet and matching pine knobs. Because it is solid wood throughout, it is much sturdier than flat-pack alternatives and can be easily customized.
As it stands, the finish is quite worn, but it’s an ideal piece for anyone into upcycling. Whether you want to sand it back to a lighter natural grain or give it a fresh coat of furniture paint, this is a great, low-cost way to get a solid piece of furniture into a room.
Condition
This chest is being sold in rough condition and will need some attention to look its best:
Surface Wear: The top has significant wear to the lacquer, with staining and "cloudy" patches where the finish has rubbed away.
Marks & Scratches: There are several deep scratches and scuffs on the drawer fronts (see detail photos).
Drawers: All four drawers open and close as they should.
