Most mainland UK locations are covered by our standard £65 furniture delivery service, with a reduced local delivery rate of £30 available within 15 miles of Bourne End SL8.
Some remote or harder-to-reach areas may require a different delivery charge, so please check our Delivery Information page before ordering or contact us if unsure.
Furniture deliveries are carried out by one-man couriers, so assistance will usually be required to help unload the item at delivery. Delivery is generally to the door, although some drivers may assist further at their own discretion.
We aim to deliver most furniture items within 10 working days, depending on location and courier routes.

We aim to describe the condition of every item as honestly and accurately as possible, with any notable wear, repairs, damage or imperfections clearly shown in both the description and photographs.

The stand is in good used condition, showing signs of its working life:
- Surface: The top has a lovely grain but shows various historic scuffs, light surface scratches, and a small faint ring mark consistent with its use as a plant or lamp stand (see detail photos).
- Woodwork: There are some minor historic indentations and tiny white paint flecks to one of the legs (see detail photos), which could be carefully cleaned or touched up.
- Build: Structurally very sound, heavy, and level. The intricate fretwork is intact with no missing sections.
Description
Crafted from solid, heavy-grade hardwood with a rich honey-toned finish, this tall pedestal table showcases traditional Chinese joinery and aesthetic. The square top features a recessed central panel, supported by four straight legs that terminate in subtle scroll feet.
The standout feature is the elaborate hand-carved fretwork apron, which wraps around all four sides with a stylised geometric pattern. A lower box stretcher provides additional structural stability while maintaining the clean, architectural silhouette. This is a versatile piece of furniture that brings a touch of refined Eastern craftsmanship to any hallway, lounge, or conservatory.
