Delivery & Collection

Most mainland UK locations are covered by our standard £65 furniture delivery service, with a reduced local delivery rate of £30 available within 15 miles of Bourne End SL8.

Some remote or harder-to-reach areas may require a different delivery charge, so please check our Delivery Information page before ordering or contact us if unsure.


Furniture deliveries are carried out by one-man couriers, so assistance will usually be required to help unload the item at delivery. Delivery is generally to the door, although some drivers may assist further at their own discretion.


We aim to deliver most furniture items within 10 working days, depending on location and courier routes.

Condition & Authenticity

We aim to describe the condition of every item as honestly and accurately as possible, with any notable wear, repairs, damage or imperfections clearly shown in both the description and photographs.


Established since 2005, we have built a strong knowledge of interiors, antiques and period furniture, allowing us to confidently identify and catalogue our pieces.

Description

Crafted from heavy-gauge solid brass, these circular pulls are designed to be mortised into the surface of a door or lid, sitting flush with the woodwork. The center features a pivoting D-handle with an ergonomic thumb grip, allowing for significant leverage when pulling heavy weight.

These handles are typical of Victorian or Edwardian utilitarian hardware, built to withstand heavy use while maintaining a clean, industrial profile. The brass has a wonderful "golden" glow and substantial weight, reflecting the quality of antique metalwork. They are ideal for use on barn doors, sliding doors, or even as decorative drawer pulls for a large campaign-style chest.

Condition

The pulls are in good original antique condition with authentic wear:

  • Metalwork: The brass shows a heavy, unpolished patina with natural tarnish, minor surface scratches, and historic marks (see detail photos). They can be polished to a high shine or left with their current aged character.

  • Mechanism: The pivoting handles are secure and move freely.

  • Build: Structurally very sound. Each pull features three pre-drilled countersunk holes for secure screw fixing.
