Delivery & Collection

Most mainland UK locations are covered by our standard £65 furniture delivery service, with a reduced local delivery rate of £30 available within 15 miles of Bourne End SL8.

Some remote or harder-to-reach areas may require a different delivery charge, so please check our Delivery Information page before ordering or contact us if unsure.


Furniture deliveries are carried out by one-man couriers, so assistance will usually be required to help unload the item at delivery. Delivery is generally to the door, although some drivers may assist further at their own discretion.


We aim to deliver most furniture items within 10 working days, depending on location and courier routes.

We aim to describe the condition of every item as honestly and accurately as possible, with any notable wear, repairs, damage or imperfections clearly shown in both the description and photographs.


Established since 2005, we have built a strong knowledge of interiors, antiques and period furniture, allowing us to confidently identify and catalogue our pieces.

Condition

Early 19th-century Regency French chaise longue. Structurally sound solid wood frame with some small cracks to the timber; still very sturdy. Original French leather upholstery with visible stitch repair and multiple marks/scratches. Surface wear and scuffs to the finish consistent with age and use.

A French Regency chaise longue dating to the early 19th century, upholstered in original brown leather with decorative nailhead trim and set on a solid wood frame. The piece has an honest, used surface with visible stitch repair to the leather and some chips and small cracks to the woodwork; the frame remains very sturdy.

Condition

Some marks and scratches throughout the leather upholstery with a visible stitch repair. The wooden frame shows age-related wear including a few small cracks and scuffs, and some loss to the finish on edges and scroll ends. Structurally the frame is solid and stable, suitable for regular use after gentle conservation if required. This is a genuine antique piece showing typical wear for an early 19th-century item.
