This is a well-made, freestanding chest of drawers crafted from solid pine. It offers plenty of versatile storage with two smaller top drawers for accessories and three full-width graduating drawers below.
The chest has a natural pine finish that shows off the wood grain and knots, finished with matching turned pine knobs. The drawers are built with proper dovetail joints, ensuring they are strong and durable. Condition
This chest is in good, functional condition but shows some signs of use as expected with an item of this age:
Surface: There are marks and scratches throughout the wood, particularly on the top surface.
Build: The unit is structurally sound. Note that there is a small gap/historic joint separation on the front corner of the plinth base (see detail photo), but it does not affect the stability.
Drawers: All drawers open and close smoothly and are clean inside.
