Delivery & Collection

Most mainland UK locations are covered by our standard £65 furniture delivery service, with a reduced local delivery rate of £30 available within 15 miles of Bourne End SL8.

Some remote or harder-to-reach areas may require a different delivery charge, so please check our Delivery Information page before ordering or contact us if unsure.


Furniture deliveries are carried out by one-man couriers, so assistance will usually be required to help unload the item at delivery. Delivery is generally to the door, although some drivers may assist further at their own discretion.


We aim to deliver most furniture items within 10 working days, depending on location and courier routes.

We aim to describe the condition of every item as honestly and accurately as possible, with any notable wear, repairs, damage or imperfections clearly shown in both the description and photographs.

Condition

Structurally sound with solid frame and working drawers. Finish has multiple scratches, marks and areas of discolouration, particularly to the top; small chips and veneer loss to some moulded edges. Brass handles aged; wear consistent with age and use.

A narrow vintage tall chest of drawers veneered in burr walnut with four long drawers and two short top drawers. The piece has a bombe-style curved drawer front on each tier, original brass drop handles and a shaped base typical of mid-century revival bedroom furniture. It will suit a bedroom or hall where vertical storage is needed but floor space is limited.

Condition

Structurally sound and usable. The walnut veneer finish shows multiple surface marks and scratches throughout, with noticeable finish wear and discolouration to the top surface. There is some veneer loss and small chips to moulded edges and drawer fronts, and the brass handles have aged patina. Drawers operate but a couple show minor edge wear and may need attention if a perfect finish is required.
