Delivery & Collection

Most mainland UK locations are covered by our standard £65 furniture delivery service, with a reduced local delivery rate of £30 available within 15 miles of Bourne End SL8.

Some remote or harder-to-reach areas may require a different delivery charge, so please check our Delivery Information page before ordering or contact us if unsure.


Furniture deliveries are carried out by one-man couriers, so assistance will usually be required to help unload the item at delivery. Delivery is generally to the door, although some drivers may assist further at their own discretion.


We aim to deliver most furniture items within 10 working days, depending on location and courier routes.

Condition & Authenticity

We aim to describe the condition of every item as honestly and accurately as possible, with any notable wear, repairs, damage or imperfections clearly shown in both the description and photographs.


Established since 2005, we have built a strong knowledge of interiors, antiques and period furniture, allowing us to confidently identify and catalogue our pieces.

Description

A fascinating piece of pre-war office technology, this set includes the "Bantam Model" duplicator base blotter and several original accessories. The kit features an internal printing plate and a hinged frame designed for stencil-based printing.

Included in the set:

  • Original Wooden Case: Features a metal carry handle and the maker's brass nameplate.

  • Accessories: A vintage metal ink roller, an "Ellams Bantam Model" duplicator ink tube in its original box, a "FilwaX" correction fluid tube and box, and a boxed Ellams Stylus Pen.

  • Ephemera: The set contains a printed notice for the "Hawkstone Lawn Tennis Club" Annual General Meeting, dated 15th March 1937, providing a charming historical context to the set’s previous use.

Condition

The set is in original vintage condition and is sold as a historical curiosity/display item:

  • Hinges: One of the internal hinges on the wooden box is broken, meaning the lid is loose and requires care when opening (see photos).

  • Consumables: The ink, correction fluid, and other chemicals are untested and likely dried or expired due to age. They are included for historical completeness only.

  • Wooden Case: Shows significant age-related wear, including scuffs, historic scratches, and staining consistent with being a functional tool.

  • Mechanism: The duplicator components appear intact but are sold as untested for functional use.
