Delivery & Collection

Most mainland UK locations are covered by our standard £65 furniture delivery service, with a reduced local delivery rate of £30 available within 15 miles of Bourne End SL8.

Some remote or harder-to-reach areas may require a different delivery charge, so please check our Delivery Information page before ordering or contact us if unsure.


Furniture deliveries are carried out by one-man couriers, so assistance will usually be required to help unload the item at delivery. Delivery is generally to the door, although some drivers may assist further at their own discretion.


We aim to deliver most furniture items within 10 working days, depending on location and courier routes.

We aim to describe the condition of every item as honestly and accurately as possible, with any notable wear, repairs, damage or imperfections clearly shown in both the description and photographs.

Condition

Sold as a restoration project. Structurally sound carcass but painted surface is rough with flaking, scratches and staining. Door misaligned and does not close properly. Hole cut in back board and a small piece of trim missing at the bottom left edge.

A tall French painted display cabinet (armoire) finished in off‑white with a single chicken‑wire glazed door and several fixed shelves for storage or display. The piece has decorative mouldings and stands on turned feet; the painted finish is worn in places which suits a country or shabby‑chic interior. It is being sold as a project piece and will benefit from some attention to the door and surface finish.

Condition

Structurally the carcass is sound but the cabinet is a project piece. The painted surface is rough with flaking, scratching and staining in several areas and there is some veneer lifting. The door does not align correctly and does not close properly without adjustment. A hole has been cut in the back board and a small piece of trim is missing from the bottom left edge by the drawer; there is also paint loss and scuffs to the base. These issues are shown in the photographs.
