Delivery & Collection

Most mainland UK locations are covered by our standard £65 furniture delivery service, with a reduced local delivery rate of £30 available within 15 miles of Bourne End SL8.

Some remote or harder-to-reach areas may require a different delivery charge, so please check our Delivery Information page before ordering or contact us if unsure.

Furniture deliveries are carried out by one-man couriers, so assistance will usually be required to help unload the item at delivery. Delivery is generally to the door, although some drivers may assist further at their own discretion.

We aim to deliver most furniture items within 10 working days, depending on location and courier routes.

Collection is also welcome from our Bourne End showroom:

Please contact us on 01628 810249 or furniture_@live.co.uk regarding collection arrangements.

Condition & Authenticity

We aim to describe the condition of every item as honestly and accurately as possible, with any notable wear, repairs, damage or imperfections clearly shown in both the description and photographs.

Established since 2005, we have built a strong knowledge of interiors, antiques and period furniture, allowing us to confidently identify and catalogue our pieces.

If you would like a more detailed condition report, additional photographs or a walkaround video via WhatsApp or SMS, we are always happy to help.

Please contact us at furniture_@live.co.uk with any enquiries.

A More Sustainable Choice

Choosing antique and reclaimed furniture is one of the most sustainable ways to furnish a home.

Older furniture was often built using solid timber and traditional craftsmanship designed to last for generations, rather than a few years.

By giving these pieces a new home, you help reduce demand for mass-produced furniture while keeping beautiful, characterful items in circulation for years to come.

Condition

Pair of vintage oak armchairs with carved arms and turned feet. Frames structurally intact though one wooden support has a visible split. Green leatherette upholstery is a later replacement with creasing and surface wear; underside dust covers badly torn exposing webbing. General scratches and marks to the wood consistent with age and use.

Pair of vintage oak framed armchairs upholstered in green leatherette (likely a later replacement). Each chair has carved oak arms, turned front legs and decorative stud detail along the sides. They make practical seating for a study, reception or living room where a period look is wanted rather than pristine upholstery.

  • Seat Height: 44 cm

Condition

Fair vintage condition. The oak frames show general wear with surface scratches, small chips and marks consistent with age. One internal wooden support has a visible split. The green leatherette upholstery shows creasing and surface wear and appears to be a later replacement. The underside dust covers are badly torn, exposing webbing, and there is wear to the feet and base fabric. Structurally the frames appear sound but the noted split and exposed webbing will require repair if a fully restored finish is required.

Delivery Information

Please note that all of our deliveries are carried out by a one-man delivery service. Assistance may therefore be required at the delivery address when receiving larger or heavier items. Please check with us before purchasing to confirm your postcode qualifies for our £65 delivery rate. Some areas incur a surcharge, and we are unable to deliver to the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, parts of Wales and certain remote locations.
