Most mainland UK locations are covered by our standard £65 furniture delivery service, with a reduced local delivery rate of £30 available within 15 miles of Bourne End SL8.
Some remote or harder-to-reach areas may require a different delivery charge, so please check our Delivery Information page before ordering or contact us if unsure.
Furniture deliveries are carried out by one-man couriers, so assistance will usually be required to help unload the item at delivery. Delivery is generally to the door, although some drivers may assist further at their own discretion.
We aim to deliver most furniture items within 10 working days, depending on location and courier routes.

We aim to describe the condition of every item as honestly and accurately as possible, with any notable wear, repairs, damage or imperfections clearly shown in both the description and photographs.

The planter is in good vintage condition, showing honest signs of age and previous use:
- Ceramic: The glaze remains bright and vibrant. There are no major cracks or large chips to the body.
- Surface: There is a light crazing to the glaze consistent with its age and material, and some minor historic rubbing to the gilt-work on the top rim.
- Interior: The internal decoration is well-preserved, though there are minor historic water marks/residue at the bottom from previous use as a planter (see interior photo).
- Stand: The wooden stand is structurally sound but shows significant surface scuffing and finish wear from use (see detail photo).
A vibrant and intricately detailed ceramic planter, decorated with classic Japanese-inspired motifs. The exterior is divided into panels: one side depicts a traditional courtly scene with figures in a landscape, while the other features dense floral sprays with butterflies. The entire design is highlighted with raised "moriage" enameling and gold-toned accents that catch the light beautifully.
In keeping with traditional "fish bowl" designs, the interior is also decorated, featuring hand-painted goldfish and water weeds, signifying good fortune and prosperity. The planter sits on a dark mahogany-toned, carved wooden base with five scrolled legs, elevating the piece and providing a stable foundation for a large houseplant or decorative arrangement.
