Delivery & Collection

Most mainland UK locations are covered by our standard £65 furniture delivery service, with a reduced local delivery rate of £30 available within 15 miles of Bourne End SL8.

Some remote or harder-to-reach areas may require a different delivery charge, so please check our Delivery Information page before ordering or contact us if unsure.


Furniture deliveries are carried out by one-man couriers, so assistance will usually be required to help unload the item at delivery. Delivery is generally to the door, although some drivers may assist further at their own discretion.


We aim to deliver most furniture items within 10 working days, depending on location and courier routes.

Condition & Authenticity

We aim to describe the condition of every item as honestly and accurately as possible, with any notable wear, repairs, damage or imperfections clearly shown in both the description and photographs.


Established since 2005, we have built a strong knowledge of interiors, antiques and period furniture, allowing us to confidently identify and catalogue our pieces.

Description

This striking two-piece centerpiece is a celebration of traditional ceramic craftsmanship. The topiary section is composed of a dense, conical arrangement of various fruits—including apples, pears, oranges, and bananas—all individually molded and hand-painted in rich, glossy glazes.

The fruit pyramid sits securely within a deep green, glazed pedestal bowl. The bottom of the piece is stamped "Made in Portugal" along with the model number "P2734". This is a substantial and high-quality decorative item that captures the charm of classic European pottery.

Condition

The centerpiece is in good vintage condition with an attractive aged aesthetic:

  • Finish: The glazes remain bright and vibrant. There is fine age-related crazing throughout the glaze, which is typical for Portuguese ceramics of this period and adds to its authentic vintage character.

  • Surface: There are some very minor, tiny "nibbles" or firing pin-holes to the glaze on some of the fruit edges, consistent with its age and hand-made nature.

  • Build: Both the topiary and the bowl are structurally sound with no major cracks or large chips.
